Announcement regarding MSAD 30 school report cards provided by the Maine Department of Education. It also offers an opportunity for public participation regarding ESEA, its programs, and funding.
Maine DOE Report Cards
Each year, the Maine Department of Education (DOE) releases district and school report cards.
These reports summarize:
State assessment results for Grades 3–8 and 11
Teacher qualification information
Reports are available through the ESSA Dashboard.
New Report Cards have been released.
Use the provided link, https://www.maine.gov/doe/dashboard to view the latest report card by searching for our school/district.
By selecting different years, you are able to view data from previous years.
Assessment Information
MSAD 30 uses assessment data at all levels (district, school, classroom) to guide decisions regarding academic programming, professional development needs, student needs, and more.
Parents/guardians may opt their child out of state testing; however, we strongly encourage both staff and students to participate as valuable data through these assessments is obtained.
Should you choose to opt out of state assessments:
Parents/guardians must contact the district principal
Submit, in writing, a request to opt out of the state assessments.
Public Comment on ESEA Application
MSAD 30 receives funding through the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).
Public comment is required before submission of the ESEA (Title I) application.
Comment period: July 22, 2025 – August 3, 2025
Community members can share thoughts on goals and priorities.
Current goals include providing supplemental academic services for students in need of extra academic services.
ESEA (Title I) funding is used for
Salary and benefits providing a half-time reading and math intervention services at Lee-Winn Elementary School, and Mt. Jefferson Jr. High.
Stipend position maintaining the ESEA grant and overseeing the districtwide Title I program.
