If you have reached this page, you are interested in finding out more
about your child's school, the staff, and the school district. I have
lived in Lee for over 25 years and both of my children went through the
SAD #30 school system. During this time, I was always contented and
happy to know that my children were in the care of the dedicated
teachers and staff at both the Lee Winn Elementary School and Mt.
Jefferson Junior High School. I truly believe that our communities are
lucky to have the school system that we have here in SAD #30.
I see, on a daily basis, teachers and staff members implementing best
practice and working hard to provide all children a quality education.
I also see that all staff members are concerned about developing the
"whole child" and that staff work on developing these critical social
skills along with the regular curriculum. As a small school system, we
care deeply about the well being and the education of the communities'
children; therefore, we strive to have teachers and parents work
closely together on all concerns that they might have for their child.
It is truly a wonderful thing to see children grow and learn. Most of
our staff members are veterans and they, therefore, have been able to
see children start their education as a kindergartener here and
progress all the way up to high school. This type of longevity allows
our schools to have a rich history of providing a quality and caring
education.
We
welcome you, as a parent, to call and/or visit our schools at any time
throughout the school year. Please continue to browse this website; it
should prove useful to you with current school information. You and
your child are also issued passwords to access Powerschool , our student data system, which allows you to view current grades and lunch balances.
Sincerely,
Pamela Hamilton
